National Disaster Will Follow National Apostasy
80I have not been blogging much recently - I intensified my study of prophecy through DVD's, online videos, the Bible, and other writings. I am convinced now that Ellen White was a prophet... and here's why.
Seventh-day Adventists have always said that there would someday be a National Sunday Law, but did we really understand what that meant? Now that the US on on the very brink of National Ruin, how can it be in a position to force the world to "worship the image which it had set up"? Well, it all makes perfect sense to me now. I can clearly see how we got to where we are as a nation and it is even easier to see how this can happen in just a few short weeks. Here are a few quotes from E.G. Whites writtings taken from Maranatha:
The people of the United States have been a favored people; but when they restrict religious liberty, surrender Protestantism, and give countenance to popery, the measure of their guilt will be full, and "national apostasy" will be registered in the books of heaven. The result of this apostasy will be national ruin. {Mar 216.1}
By the decree enforcing the institution of the papacy in violation of the law of God, our nation will disconnect herself fully from righteousness. When Protestantism shall stretch her hand across the gulf to grasp the hand of the Roman power, when she shall reach over the abyss to clasp hands with spiritualism, when, under the influence of this threefold union, our country shall repudiate every principle of its Constitution as a Protestant and republican government, and shall make provision for the propagation of papal falsehoods and delusions, then we may know that the time has come for the marvelous working of Satan and that the end is near. {Mar 216.2}
So what? you say - the US hasn't done this yet! Well, you better take a look at this article about a National Day of Rest. A top leader within the Christian Coalition by a set of bizarre circumstance (or Divine intervention) is a SDA pastor. They recently met with the Pope and the coalition is going to Bush and Congress THIS OCTOBER to push this legislation. How likely is it that the Republicans will say "no" to this proposal that the majority of "Christians" in the US purport to want? In an election year where the Democrats are favored - I'd say that their chance of success is about 110%. This Bill will be passed (the Bible says so) and there will be a National Day of Rest.
Sounds good, right? Except that the Bible and Mrs. White have already told us what will happen when that legislation is passed: The "winds of strife" will be released and the judgments of God will begin to fall on the inhabitants of the world - starting with the United States.
My personal opinion from what I have learned over the past 6 months is that our economy will collapse shortly after mid October. FEMA and the military have standing orders to seal up the cities when this happens. No one is to get in or out. Since FEMA is already buying up all the major food crops in the US, they're preparing for this now. The Federal Government will then control as a Police State all of the major US cities, all of the fuel, and all of the food resources of this country. The US dollar will be worthless and a new economy will be instituted in this Prison State. If you want to buy or sell, eat, drive, or have electricity, then you will abide by the law, including the well-intentioned-but-misguided National Day of Rest.
Am I an alarmist conspiracy theorist? You better believe it! What are we doing in Iraq many have asked? Well, when you know that your economy is going to fail, you'd better secure resources if your government is going to survive - and the worlds most sought after resources are Food and Fuel. North America has the food - and Iraq has the fuel.
Why do I think that FEMA is gearing up for just such a National Disaster? Well, here is a note sent by a bulk food distributor to a friend who had placed an order:
Note: The next 3 months are going to be trying, to say the least. We the people are now in competition with our government in the attempt to buy food supplies. Oregon Freeze Dried Foods ( Mountain House ) will not be selling to the public in large amounts due to the U.S. Goverment taking all production for the next 27 months. They are also positioning themselves to take most of the fall harvest of grains, cereals, legumes and other produce items. I don't mean to be an alarmest folks, but something is in the air.
Watch the first of October and on. This should prove to be an interesting time.

My concern for those of you living in the cities is that by the time we know there is a national emergency, it will be too late to leave the cities. Just as when Rome overthrew Jerusalem, the banners (Abomination of Desolation) have been planted in the "holy place" (the area outside the walls of the city). If we don't leave the cities now, we'll be surrounded and left to die inside - through famine and disease (not to mention the Judgments of God).

I thought I had commented on that sermon but perhaps I did so on another one of your Hubs? I do think he's right - mostly right - if not a little misguided. What I believe he and others will push for is this National Day of Rest, and that is where they're wrong. Their day of rest is Sunday - which Dr. Veith clearly shows is one of the most ancient Holy Days ever - for Sun Worshippers or Luciferian worship. Once that legislation is in place and christianity agrees to follow the Pope in Sunday observance over Gods Sabbath observance, the real God (JHWH) will stop protecting the world from Lucifer and the troubles will begin. As it gets worse, the religious "right" is going to begin looking at who is NOT keeping Sunday holy as the cause of the disasters and plagues. Revelation says that they will harden their hearts and refuse to repent and will instead seek death for those who have not accepted the Mark of the Beast.
It could very well lead the world to the scenario of the Antichrist Maitreya:

In reply to "Stephen": if SDA's are NOT Christians, then what defines "Christian"? Undoubtedly, you have been spoon fed the pablum of sunday keeping and have done no study of your own. Before you say ANYONE isn't "Christian", you should spend 100 hours of Bible study, alone, without a pastor there to lead you wrong. Christ promised His Holy Spirit to teach YOU and guide YOU in ALL truth and righteousness. After your first 100 hours...let us know what you find.
Sorry you've been lied to Stephen. I could say the very same thing about Mormons or Jehovah's Witnesses if I were to listen to all the dogma spewed by "religions".
Lately I've been enjoying the understanding of the Torah that I have only found with the Messianic Jews. Michael Rood has some very insightful videos online. I don't agree with all of his prophetic conclusions, but I do appreciate greatly his understanding and insights on the Feasts of the Lord.

The central issue since the beginning of time has been who will you obey? Lets start with the example of Cain and his brother Able and try to follow along. Now, they were both "believers" you could say....both were sons of Adam, im sure both grew up worshiping God right? One day God told Cain and Able to make a sacrifice right? in other words God asked them to worship Him. God was very specific, He said to offer a lamb for sacrifice. Able obeyed the Lord and did as He commanded, Cain on the other hand didnt. Cain said "yeah Lord ill worship you, but ill worship you how i want to worship you, i dont want to offer a lamb i want to offer the fruit of my garden" So here is my point i hope we understand it. here we have two brothers who both believe in God (two christians) one obeys Gods command and worships correctly (Sabbath) the other one says i want to worship but ill worship my way (sunday). What were the results? God honored and accepted Able (sabbath) and dishonored and did not accept Cain (sunday). When Cain saw that God had honored his brother and not him he killed his brother. In the last days it will be the same way, the question will be presented to everyone, who do you obey? God is asking us to worship Him, will we worship Him how he has asked (sabbath) or will we invent our own worship (sunday). Inspiration tells us that in the last days the one who worships wrong will persecute the one that worships correctly, just as it was with Cain and Able.....God means it when He says "remember the sabbath day to keep it Holy"
It is definitely not constitutional to make a national day of rest such as a sunday law ,or a saturday law for that matter based on a religious principle.
Well folks,, I am totally inclined to agree with Tim Brezo, as he is one who evidentially HAS studied his Scriptures under the wise hand of the Holy Spirit. True Seventh Day Adventists, are not affiliated with any of the money pits they call churches,,, not even the SDA organized gerneral conference churches. They simply keep the Seventh Day (Saturday, from antiquity), holy and are waiting for the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ,,,thus the name Seventh Day Adventists. They worship in homes around the world and will have NOTHING to do with "my pastors says or my "church" believes this or that" ... they study to make themselves "wise" "unto salvation". Hense,, anyone who uses "guile" to bad mouth another for their faith should read the part that states very plainly......."judge nothing before it's time". God is the judge of ALL false or TRUE religion........we had better hope that we are in HIS camp at the time of His Son's arrival to this very sin sick and horrible world we have brought upon ourselves,,,,even so.. I would have argued with you two years ago - but now I agree completely! The true remnant are those who follow the Law for the love of our God, not because we believe it can save us.
As for the SDA General Conference, they must be run by the Pope. They've accepted his 1965 Vatican II "flame" as part of their logo and they signed the whole assembly onto the IRS' 501(c)(3) status - effectively putting the church under the Federal Reserves authority. Of course the Fed is controlled by the banks which in turn are centered around the World Bank in London .... started by the Vatican I believe.

What you say is the truth. The amazing thing is that Ellen White wrote those things first in 1858. They are now coming true like clock work.
It is amazing that people can really eb spiritually blind. I am amazed every time i read comments such as these.
It is a Biblical fact that we should test the prophets, but yet it is clear that so few people do. It's as if one fool makes many. It's like buying a gym membership but not actually going to the gym.
To hear people cling on to someone who clearly did what God explicitly said not to do- set a date for His coming, yet one woman who did just that is declared a prophet...ok, then you must not be a Bible believing Christian.
What makes the Adventists different from the Jehovah Witness...they both came from the same movement. The only difference is that the Witnesses keep setting a time , and the Adventists choose to believe that they were not wrong for their time setting, but rather God was moving from place to place in His temple and cleansing things.(loosely put)Very unbiblical.
How can something good come from a lie. If God tells you not that 'no man knoweth the day nor the hour', yet here was somebody who left their church and followed an error, and then instead of admitting that they were at fault/wrong, decided to justify the wrong. It's amazing.
I have searched Revelation over and over and I have never seen anything about a Sunday law being passed. So it makes me ask the question- why? Why is this being held as a doctrine when it is NOT in the Bible. One fool makes many perhaps? Some of the 'elect' being deceived?
How is it that seemingly normal Christians could go off on a tangent with some crazed idea- that of the cleansing of the sanctuary nonsense.
Does no one take thought to the fact that God promises that anyone who 'adds' to Revelation God will add the plagues to them, and the same fate will belie anyone who also takes away from it???
I get why you think the Sabbath is the right day of worship- not that I agree, but at least I can see why someone truly spiritually blind might believe it, but the rest I just don't get.
Not only do you guys add to God's words- essentially elevating some mortal man(woman) over God, but you refuse to see the Bible in context. How can a command to the Jews become something for you today is by unbelievable,( Start by reading from Genesis,and go on to about Leviticus just for fun and when you are done, tell me that God was talking to you. Don't be afraid- just do it; you may be amazed at what you find simply by reading) but I digress.
If you all are waiting for a Sunday law to pass which let me say as a side bar is ludicrous and here's why: SDA's are not the only 'religious sect' that worship on a day other than Sunday, so to think that you are so unique that a law will pass that would directly impact you and only you is a little self-serving.
Last I checked that decision would also affect Muslims who are greater in number than you, and it would affect Jews who currently also worship on Saturdays, plus other 'sabbath keeping people',; now what is it that would make this erroneous fabricated law bring the world to the Adventists' knees again?
So a law is passed that says people should use Sunday as a day of rest and this affects you how? Oh yeah that's right, they will then force you to worship on Sunday. So basically they will force all Muslims and other sabbath keepers and the Jews into this acrimonious worship, and then it will be the Adventists who will really be the target right?
I wonder if you know that EG White says in Great Controversy and in Early Writings that God will tell His people that day and hour of His coming. Do you really believe that? Yup, that's what she said. Now if you believe Matt 24 you know that it's impossible because Jesus Himself says that no man knows not even the Son. It's just one of the little nuggets of lies (seemingly small ones) that this prophet has spewed from her mouth.
Choose ye this day whom ye will serve... You cannot serve God and man (used in the wrong context but still applies) It has to be either believe God or Ellen- unfortunately it can't be both.
So yes, I agree that Ellen White is a prophet- a false one!

Early Writings 'Deliverance of the Saints Page 251 published 1999 and 285-286 in earlier versions. Bear in mind that a new edition may not have these 'truths' as presented by Ellen.
She has selected the time of day of Jesus' coming. "It was at midnight that God chose to delver His people" Of course that could be true as we have different times in the world, but since she was American it would make sense that she was speaking about where she was living at the time. The fact still remains that she gives a specific time of day.
"And God spoke the day and hour of Jesus' coming..."
Both those statements are in paragraphs one and two, the first being the opening statement.
Now I don't know what kind of Christian you are, but as for me, if I were Adventist and saw this it would send me right to reading- oh but wait, you are not supposed to 'question' the writings...isn't that a contradiction to God telling us to 'test' the prophets?

When the Bible says that Jesus is coming as a thief in the night,does it mean that He is coming at night and to rob us? No. His coming will be when we least expect Him. So also does Ellen White speak figuratively about Him coming at midnight. If you take the time to read for yourself she clearly agrees with the Bible verse that no one knows the day nor hour of His coming. She speaks figuratively meaning that He will come at our darkest hour.At a time when things could not look bleaker.
The 1844 cleansing of the sanctuary, which you refer to, was not predicted by the Seventh Day Adventist church. If you read up on world religious history you will find that the church did not exist until after that time was set and also passed. There were many people from all denominations preaching the second coming and that it would come that year.It was a world wide belief. Ellen White also never left her church and always only claimed Christ as her and our savior. The Bible alone is the foundation of everything we believe. She never called herself a prophet. She said she was only ever to be someone that was to point others to Christ, which so many of the reformers did.
Sunday laws are not a doctrine of the Seventh Day Adventist church. I don't know where you got that from. It is just a sign of the times. If you research it you will find that there are a few places (very small) that already have Sunday laws. Some like America and Australia already have them in their blue print laws. This is definitely not Adventist doctrine. He is not a spiritual leader nor does he proclaim to be God. Just because someone starts a program he's labeled. There are many out there like that.And the crest. What a joke. Read your Bible who ever put this together.
Obama just received new powers and his nation is not riuned as yet.Roman Catholic Bishop just formed the Sunday Alliance together with Unionists and the European Parliament.Obama may become a dictator yet, but the US is going it alone lately. The Sunday law must come from the US and not Europe to prove our prophet true.
If what Ellen White stated agrees with the Bible, it is the Bible that is Truth. Ellen White has made many false 'prophecies' and teaches some biblical interpretation in grave error. Just look them up online.
You rejoice in the Truth, and this is evident, but do not put Ellen White on the pedestal of 'true prophet' because she was not. God's prophets are never wrong. I do appreciate your heart, however.

So, do you agree with Rev. Jeramiah Wright that God will damn the United States? I am curious because I have yet to have anyone respond to my analysis of what he said that caused such an uproar. It was, from my point of view, a Biblically sound sermon about how if we don't repent and deny our sins, God will indeed damn this nation.
